The SilverRide assisted ride service (TNC) picks you up picks you up from inside any location and transports you safely and securely all the way into your final destination. SilverRide drivers are bonded, trained and insured to help you each step of the way.

The Drivers Assisting Seniors in Healdsburg (DASH) volunteer transportation program is available to Seniors age 60 or better who live in Healdsburg and need assistance with transportation.
Trained volunteers drive City-owned vehicles to provide pre-scheduled rides for medical, shopping, and social activities within Healdsburg and out of town rides for medical appointments to individuals residing in Healdsburg.
Once riders are enrolled in the program, they may request a DASH car one week in advance of their appointment. Rides are scheduled according to volunteer driver availability.
The program is funded through the City’s Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) along with a Caltrans grant awarded to Sonoma County.

Windsor Wheels Volunteer Driver Program for older adults living in the town of Windsor and north Santa Rosa residents that live within the bounds of Highway 101, Highway 12 and Fulton Road. Call (707) 838-6641 extension 244 for more information.

The Lyft app
To request a Lyft ride, download Lyft and create an account. Then:
- Open the Lyft app
- Tap ‘search destination’ and enter your destination. You can enter an address or search for a location.
- Select your ride mode. Swipe left for economy, luxury, or extra seating options.
- Tap ‘Select’ to request a ride. That’s it!
The pickup location will automatically set to your current GPS location. To change the pickup location:
- Tap ‘Current location’ at the top of the screen
- Enter an address or drag the location pin to the right spot
- Tap ‘Set pickup.’ That’s it!
If there’s an easier pickup location nearby, you’ll have the option to meet your driver at the new location to save time. Pickup suggestions are always optional, and are only a short walk away.
We are a group of volunteers who work together as a non-profit community membership organization to empower adults 50 and over to age affordably in their own homes for as long as they can and enjoy social and educational activities. Individuals join the Village and their membership fees support the programs. Our intention is to work collaboratively with existing community organizations to strengthen affordable services for elders and increase the “aging-friendliness” of our community.
Personal transportation service for older adults by appointment seven days per week. Rides must originate in Sonoma area. Drivers drive to destinations inside or outside of Sonoma County and can help with personal errands . Hourly rate of $35 per hour.

We at Daisy Drivers provide Hands-On assistance if needed making daily outings into the community a breeze and enjoyable. One of the services that the Daisy Driver offers, Is Hands-On assistance to the doctor’s office if that is something that you need .We not only take you to the doctors and wait assuring your safety, we’re happy to take notes for you if that’s something you’re interested in. Route 16 is free to ride, and serves the general public, operating primarily within the Oakmont Community, in addition to making one shopping trip per day.
To catch Route 16, wait at any bus stop along the route or call to request a pick up within ¾ of a mile from the route.
Uber is a private Transportation Network Company. Rides are scheduled via mobile phone application.
You can review Uber’s policy regarding accessibility for riders with disabilities HERE. Uber is currently developing new technology (UberWAV) offering those requiring wheelchair accessible vehicles the opportunity to request an on-demand ride with the touch of a button.
Accessibility Compliance Notification
- Driver-partners must comply with all applicable state, federal and local laws governing the transportation of riders with disabilities. A partner’s violation of the laws governing the accommodation of riders with disabilities constitutes a breach of the parties’ Technology Services Agreement.
- Accordingly, driver-partners are expected to accommodate riders using walkers, canes, folding wheelchairs or other assistive devices to the maximum extent feasible.
- Any report of unlawful discrimination will result in the temporary deactivation of a partner’s account while Uber reviews the incident. Confirmed violations of the law with respect to riders with disabilities may result in permanent loss of a partner’s access to the Uber platform.
Service Animal Policy
State and federal law prohibit driver-partners using the Uber Driver App from denying service to riders with service animals because of the service animals, and from otherwise discriminating against riders with service animals. As explained in Uber’s Non-Discrimination Policy, driver-partners who engage in discriminatory conduct in violation of this legal obligation will lose their ability to use the Driver App. More information about Uber’s Service Animal Policy can be found here.
